Use Fairy Ads for Effective Advertising!

There's a new Text Ad exchange that has been gaining popularity over the last few months. I suspect this will continue because of the friendly atmosphere and explosive advertising potential. It's FREE to join, so you can't lose on this one.

It's called Fairy Ads. You can use this exchange to drive traffic to your website, blog, or business with amazing results. Effective advertising and responsive members. This is it and you should join and give it a whirl.

Fairy Ads can run in several ways and it's very flexible, intuitive, and dynamic. Ads can be purchased in various formats or earn credits by viewing or clicking other members ads. You can then take those points and use them towards your advertising efforts. These ads take the form of Banners, Text Ads, Html Ads, Traffic Links, Navigation Buttons, & Login Ads. Solo Ads can be e-mailed to all members of the exchange whenever you would like to send them.

There are Free and Pro memberships available. The basic difference in the memberships is credit earning power. Currently, Free Members Earn $1.50 for referring a Pro Member & Pro Members Earn $3.50 for referring a PRO Member. These referral commissions are subject to change as the membership level grows. In addition to this, by referring members, you earn residual credits towards your marketing efforts. Any commissions earned on a monthly basis are deposited via PayPal every month.

I am very lucky to have met such nice people who own this exchange. Marleen is a dear friend and really cares about what she's doing. I have no doubt you will feel the same way after you use this exchange. Nora is the artist inspiration behind all the beautiful graphics that are the centerpiece of this exchange. If you appreciate good works of art, then you will appreciate her artistic ability and signature style. Last but not least is my friend, Johnathan who's technical expertise is the backbone of this exchange. All of these people make Fairy Ads a great place to be a part of to use for your advertising needs.

The Way I See It, if you want to advertise your blog, website, or business then Fairy Ads is for you. The exchange works and the people who are there will take care of you. Sign Up and be HAPPY!

Wizard Surf Traffic Exchange Review

My absolute favorite Traffic Exchange is Wizard Surf. I took my time evaluating it, analyzing it, and just trying it out the last few weeks and now I want to share what I found with the rest of the world. If you want to generate some additional traffic for your website or blog than this traffic exchange is for you. I am passionate about this traffic exchange and I believe in it. I am offering a bonus 1,000 credits from my account to yours when you join my downline using the links, pictures, and banners posted on my blog.

Joining is very easy. You simply click here or on any of the Wizard Surf images or banners on this post. You'll get a pop-up to Wizard Surf and will bring you to the main page. While you're there, go ahead and read some of the details of this traffic exchange for your enjoyment. Click on the upper right-hand corner of the page on the Signup button. You will be brought to a simple signup page where you enter your e-mail address and create a password.

You will have to check your e-mail for the confirmation from Wizard Surf. After finding the e-mail you'll have to open it and confirm your account. Once confirmed, you can go back to Wizard Surf and login. Click on the Surf button. You need to surf 30 websites to make your account Active.

Now that you've surfed your 30 sites and made your account Active, you have a Free account which includes the following:

Currently, there's a FREE Mage Lifetime upgrade available. You have to either e-mail admin or file a support ticket requesting this upgrade once your account has become Active. When you get upgrade to a Mage Lifetime account, you get the following:

There are many benefits of upgrading your account. Most Traffic Exchanges give you a standard 5 urls and that's all you get. When you upgrade to Mage with Wizard Surf, you get 25 urls, 25 banners, 25 text ads and also a better surfing ratio. The Mage upgrade is 3:2 ratio or for every 3 pages you surf, you get 2 credits in your account. The most valuable feature in my opinion, is the 500 credit allowance that is awarded monthly. You can use those credits on website hits, banner impressions, and text impressions. Recently, Wizard Surf has adopted a "unending" link policy that is awarded when your text links credits run low. You usually get 1,000 credits at a time which is really nice.

These credits are interchangeable too. You can convert them to whatever you want. For example, let's say you're not doing banners this week and you want more website hits - you take your banner credits and use the converter tool in the control panel and convert them to website hits. Simple as that.

I also found the network ads to be very valuable to me. On some other Traffic Exchanges I was using, I guess admin didn't make sure that they were working properly.... I tested a bunch and the network ads on Wizard Surf really blew me away. You take the Wizard Surf network code written in javascript and spread them across any websites or blogs you have running across the internet. In simple terms, you display Wizard Surf ads (which you're a part of) on your websites and in return for displaying them, Wizard Surf rewards you with credits back into your account! The Mage upgrade is 1:1 ratio for banner and text impressions or for every Wizard Surf ad you display on one of your websites per pageview, you get one credit in your account.

I suppose after reading all of this, you are wanting to know my traffic results, right? I tracked my stats with Google Analytics and I found this traffic exchange to perform quite good. The hits on your stats are suddle and don't spike to like 400 hits in one day. I hear that Google and other places don't like to see that fluctuation as it pertains to ranking, ads, and pagerank because it looks unnatural; statistically speaking. Instead, it's a few direct hits to your url as well as the referring url of Wizard Surf. In addition to this, you have the ability to display your blog or website to the 500 members (currently) on the internal Wizard Surf network when people surf for credits. Honestly, there is some room for improvement (I think Wizard Surf has been up since April 2008) but whatever traffic you don't see, Wizard Surf's owner makes up for it in the form of free hits, the unending free text links, and the 500 credit allowance that is awarded monthly.

Which brings me to the Traffic Exchange owner, Bob McDaniel. I think what really led me to staying a member, surfing the exchange, referring others, and using it as a primary means to generate traffic is the overall disposition of this guy. I e-mailed him some questions, he answered back. {whoa} When he didn't know the answer, he ran tests and he looked for the answer among his peers who also own traffic exchanges. I happily (by accident) found this out because I saw my question to him recently appear in a technical forum. Also, He offered me kind words of encouragement and welcomed any suggestions on how to make his exchange an even better place.

Aside from all of this, I found out that he *modestly* mentioned that he came back from Guatemala doing charitable work for children. He does not use this as a primary means to advertise his exchange or to get people to join, but you have to consider the genuineness and sincerity of this guy's heart in all aspects of what he does. The Sponsor a Child banners are prominately displayed in the user control panel as well as the Wizard Surf exchange.

"I'm a retired CPA who has dabbled with the internet for years. I've learned html and am working on php and mysql. For the past two years my wife and I were in Guatemala helping to get a children's home up and running (www.rsmm.org). We returned to the US the 1st of March and are establishing ourselves in the Buffalo NY area. I have the wizard network that currently runs two traffic exchanges, wizardsurf.com and bestsurfmagic.com" - Bob McDaniel

The Way I See It, Wizard Surf is the best traffic exchange I've ever been a part of. It has great features and functionality and the owner is a genuine human being who will treat you fairly. You should join and give it a chance and you will be very pleased with the results.

Traffic Bunnies Exchange Review

I gave the Traffic Bunnies Traffic Exchange a shot the last few weeks and measured the results. I have to admit, I was very skeptical at first because of the cute, playful name. Traffic is fantastic. It towered over Google, Live! and Yahoo on my statistics.

Prizes and Bonuses are great. You can win by a multiplier like in a casino on a slot machine: 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, Cash, and Speed.

You get a meter and as you surf, the meter fills up. When the meter
gets to 100% you can win free banner or text impressions. I even won on
several occasions a FREE 1 day Pro upgrade which gave me an 8 second
timer. (6 seconds during the speed multiplier) and a 1:1 ratio. On
occasion, you also can win .pdf files or "how to" type guides for your
website.

  • Advertise Up to 5 Websites / Banners / Text Ads (paid accounts get more)
  • 2:1 visitors ratio - receive 1 visitor, for every 2
    sites that you view.
  • Fun Games to play - that reward you with even more
    visitors.
  • Win Splashpoints - and use them at any of the
    Available Merchants
  • Network, Participate, Promote and Learn in our Forums
  • Sign up is FREE.

The Way I See It, Traffic Bunnies is better than any other Traffic Exchange I've tried so far. I won't be posting exchanges in my blog that I wouldn't recommend using myself.

    Fellowes PS-77Cs Shredder 32177 Powershred

Last week my Ativa DX180D Cross-Cut Shredder took a dive. I use it mostly to shred snail mail spam that comes to my door on a regular basis. It had a one year warranty and it died a few weeks after the warranty expired. You would think that purchasing a heavy duty shredder that costs about $150, it would at least last a few years. They probably make more money off of fixing these shredders than they actually cost in the first place. I gotta throw it away. Figures.

Funny thing today, I bought some DVD-Rs and they were made by Ativa. The label proudly reads: Empowering Technology. This company has to be the Hyundai of Office Products!

I'm going to try my luck with the Fellowes 32177 Powershred PS-77Cs Shredder. Most ratings are quite high on this product so we'll see what happens.

    • Medium-duty shredder reduces documents to 5/32 x 1-1/2 inch higher-security confetti particles
    • 9-inch wide front feed paper entry shreds up to 12 sheets per pass
    • Shreds credit cards, staples, small paper clips, and CDs
    • 7-gallon pull-out wastebasket included
    • 5-year limited manufacturer's warranty

Wow! a 5-year warranty! I'm in on this one:

Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust BOB Game to be Released in 2008

Yep, they're at it again..... it's another Leisure Suit Larry game set to be released in late 2008. It will be called Box Office Bust (BOB) and the story will be set around Hollywood. This game will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and mobile phones.

For Al Lowe's comments on this, visit his website here. There are also links there to some other sites that are covering this story.

I did play Magna Cum Laude just to see what all the hype was about. One day I happened to see it at a local thrift store for $3.00 so I bought it. No way was I gonna pay full price for that game. I did not want to support this game, and encourage more lucrative sales, when I knew Al Lowe wasn't involved in his creation.

I found Magna Cum Laude to be uneventful, boring, predictable, and downright childish. Instead of good humor and puzzles, I was stuck with the mashing of buttons x, x, o, o, x, x........

This is my blog, my soapbox. The way I see it, you let Al Lowe back in the picture and Leisure Suit Larry will be a better game. If you let inexperienced game designers and corporate suits handle this series, they will drive it into the ground until there is nothing left - no sales, no fanbase, and unfortunately, you'll end up ruining the image of Leisure Suit Larry and the respect that the series has earned over the years. I can honestly say that without Al Lowe, this series is really going into the toilet.

You can PREORDER Box Office Bust online for Windows XP / Vista, PS3, and XBOX 360:

dtv2009 Appeal $40 Cable Box Coupon for FREE

If you don't know this already, TV is going digital by 2009. Anyone who still uses rabbit ears or the like will be out of luck next year. The good news is, the U.S. Government has stepped in to issue $40 coupons towards the purchase of digital equipment to help with the transition. You can apply and then appeal if you are denied.

Unfortunately, the first time around I was denied. I took the liberty of trying to help my grandparents out who don't have cable, still own a black and white tv, and only own one color TV and yes, they were denied also. Hopefully, the coupons will be granted to them on appeal.

To request a coupon, you can apply online at http://www.dtv2009.gov (Yes, it's very slow!) There's also 24-hour hotline available, 1-888-DTV-2009 (1-888-388-2009).

The Way I see It, any help towards this digital TV transition is a great help. Struggling families and our elderly could sure benefit from this program. Tell everyone you know!

Link to this blog by placing any of the the codes below into your website or blog!

Good linkers are usually rewarded with a link back underneath the section: "These Links Taste Good" (note: they really must taste good with a quality site, good cause, pagerank, etc)
